Best AI video tools with clear terms for a book you upload
SceneMixer and Topview each spell out all five clauses. Six more tools spell out four. The count reads the written terms and gives no view on whether a clause is fair to accept. As of 2026-09-25.
1Five clauses, one point each
A book uploaded to an AI video tool meets five parts of the terms: what the uploader promises to hold, what licence the tool takes, whether the upload trains anything, how a complaint of copying is handled and what happens when the upload is deleted. A tool earns a point for each part its own terms address in so many words.
- States the rights you must hold
- States what licence it takes on uploads
- Says uploads stay out of model training, or can be opted out
- Describes how infringement is handled
- Says what deleting an upload does
2What a point is not
The point rewards plainness, not generosity. A tool that states a perpetual licence over every upload earns the licence point exactly as a tool that states a narrow one does, and the same goes for training: only a statement that uploads are not used, or can be opted out, scores there.
3The ranking of terms
Inclusion rule. Makers among the 24 in the register whose pages state at least one of the points listed above; every one of them states at least one, so all 24 are listed. Order. Descending by points; ties share a rank and break alphabetically.

5Where a count of clauses runs out
Terms change, and the register quotes them as they read on the day of the visit. The count says nothing about how a tool behaves in practice, how a clause would be applied to a particular book or whether the book's rights are cleared; those are questions for the rightsholder and the tool, not for a tally.
Every one of the 24 tools read states at least one of the five clauses, so all of them appear in the table; the wording of each is on its page in the register of tool terms.
Each clause has its own register page: rights you promise to hold, the licence you grant, uploads and training, infringement and what deletion does. The ranking starts from the terms rankings.
