Can an AI video tool close an account over infringement?

Six tools' terms say so. Kling AI and OpenArt may terminate repeat infringers, and Kling AI may also suspend them; MagicLight, Descript and Pictory close their accounts; SceneMixer may terminate them. The terms read do not say how many notices it takes. As of 2026-09-25.

Inclusion rule. A source is listed when its own text states what the question asks. Order. Sources in alphabetical order.

A closed account takes its projects with it, including work that had nothing to do with the complaint.

Repeat-infringer policies are a condition of the U.S. DMCA's safe harbour, which is why they appear even in short terms.

Keeping the source text, the edition and the rights evidence with each project is the simplest defence against a mistaken notice.
