What decides whether a book can be adapted

Are uploads to AI video tools public?

Six tools' terms say whether uploads go public. Pika, Runway, Topview, Descript and SceneMixer make content public only when you share, publish or submit it; Krea lets some submissions be seen by other users unless the plan includes private mode. The other 18 say nothing in the terms read. As of 2026-10-13.

Inclusion rule. A source is listed when its own text states what the question asks. Order. Sources in alphabetical order.

For an unpublished manuscript, visibility is the plainest risk: a scene shown in a community gallery has been published in the ordinary sense.

Runway's terms add that other users may search for, see, use, modify and reproduce content submitted to a public area.

A private mode tied to a plan means the plan decides; checking it before the first upload is cheaper than taking a scene down later.
