1Where the terms differ

Story.com's terms cover deletion, where Pictory's terms read are silent. On licences, Pictory reads “limited to running the service” and Story.com reads “perpetual and transferable”. On training use, Pictory reads “used in aggregate to improve the service” and Story.com reads “may be used for training”. On infringement handling, Pictory reads “repeat infringers removed” and Story.com reads “a notice-and-takedown route”. Neither set of terms states rights warranties or visibility.

Which set suits a project depends on the book: an out-of-copyright classic asks different questions from an unpublished manuscript.
