Weigh the tools that rule out training
Only three of the 24 tools' terms rule out training on uploads outright: invideo, Vyond and SceneMixer. Seven say uploads may be used, Topview uses them unless the user opts out, and Luma's paid-use licence covers it. As of 2026-09-25.
For an unpublished novel, a no-training clause is the strongest protection terms of service give.
It sits beside the licence, not instead of it: the tool still stores and processes the text.
Enterprise agreements can change the answer; Higgsfield's training clause excludes enterprise customers.
Read the privacy policy too, since terms of service often point to it for data use.
